Legal prowess meets tech

Legal prowess
meets tech

We created Herbie to democratize high-quality estate planning, so every family can be in control of what matters most to them.

Built by veterans of the nation's top law firms, tech companies and consumer brands

FOUNDED BY LAWYERS WHO HAVE LIVED THE PROBLEM

Herbie was founded by Josh Aronoff and Michael Moritz. Josh and Michael met as classmates at Duke Law School. They both went on to practice law at the nation's most prestigious and elite law firms.

Herbie was born from personal and professional experiences. Our platform helps anyone plan ahead to ease the burdens that can make a loss feel overwhelming—because we've been there.

We have experienced the benefits and burdens of good and bad estate plans. We've spent years dealing with the turmoil of settling estates and have crafted the highest quality estate plans while working at the most prestigious law firms. That same caliber of legal thinking and experience is embedded in Herbie's intuitive platform.
