Attorney and Co-Founder
Michael was previously an estate planning attorney to ultra high net worth clients at the elite law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, and before that, at McDermott Will & Emery. He has vast experience in the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney and many other critical estate planning documents. Michael began his career in the top-ranked litigation group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York, focusing on securities defense litigation for public companies and other complex commercial lawsuits. Michael is a Co-Founder of Herbie.
Michael received his JD and a Master of Laws (LLM) in International & Comparative Law at Duke Law School. He later received an LLM in Taxation with an estate planning concentration in the first-ranked NYU Law School program. Michael went to Duke University for his undergraduate education.
Michael is licensed in New York.

Attorney and Co-Founder
Josh began his career as a corporate attorney at the premier firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he focused on debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions and commercial agreements. A licensed pilot, Josh then worked at two aerospace companies in corporate and legal roles, structuring commercial aircraft transactions and related financings for a $2 billion portfolio, and ultimately leading growth-stage corporate functions. After his father passed away, Josh learned first-hand the challenges of estate administration and set out to ease the process for others. Josh is a Co-Founder of Herbie.
Josh received his JD and MBA from Duke Law School and Duke's Fuqua School of Business. He went to Vanderbilt University for his undergraduate education.
Josh is licensed in New York.
